Follow Your Muse is was my contribution to the 20th Anniversary Electro-Clips CD project of the Society of Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States. This project was the brainchild of Paul Rudy when he was program chair of the SEAMUS. The premise of was that, during the national conference, Paul made informal recordings of the responses by various members to the question, “How do you pronounce the acronym of the name of this organization?” He then invited the membership to submit miniature compositions using these informal audio recordings (which were full of a wild variety of ambient noises) as source material. I was delighted that my composition was selected for inclusion on the official SEAMUS CD.
